One reason to use JacketFlap
Tracy Grand, who started JacketFlap, told me about one way to use JacketFlap that is really useful: to search for similar books. Like remember how I wanted to know about titles that were about kidnapping.
She said “JacketFlap actually has a feature that will let you find those books. Go to the advanced search page by clicking the Advanced Search link next to the search box (at the top-right of every page on JacketFlap). Then, enter kidnapping in the Subject box and select Young adult in the Reading Level pull-down menu on the right side of the advanced search page. Click the Search button, and a few seconds later you'll find a page of results of YA books about kidnapping.”
And I checked it out myself and found several results I hadn’t anywhere else.
But, I’m happy to say, nothing like my book.
