I think Amazon is reading my mind

This is weird. I wanted to look at my LJ friend Sara Zarr's "Story of a Girl." So I typed that in, in quotes, in the Amazon search box. Here are the results. Her book is at the top. Which makes sense.

But look at the next two. Robin Merrow McCready's Buried. Robin is my new friend and another client of my agent's.

And Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely . And she's my LJ friend.

So how does Amazon decide to put them as the top three choices for "Story of a Girl"??

And then at number 11 is Erzi Deak's Period Pieces. And Erzi was in a mystery writing class I taught two years ago.

The world is starting to feel really small.
