Ny Post reports in its Page Six column that they spotted CBS News Sunday Morning correspondent Bill Geist selling copies of his new book WAY OFF THE ROAD from a wheelbarrow by the TKTS booth in Times Square. He's quoted as saying "I expect fierce competition from the pashmina and purse peddlers, but my book is not a knockoff." He also claimed to be trying to get permission to sell his book from toll booths.
[Full disclosure: My guess is that he hoped to generate a little buzz by hanging out in the nation's media center, not one of the small towns he writes about. Right now the book is #56 on Amazon, so maybe he doesn't need to worry.]
