In third grade, my kid was lucky enough to have Sharon Gray as a teacher. Twenty years earlier, Beverly had spent two weeks observed Ms. Gray’s third grade class to help her write one of her Ramona books.
Interestingly, as a child, Beverly was placed in a “low reading circle.” Shows how wrong labels can be.
