The first time I went to New York, I made my husband make a pilgrimage to the Silver Palate. I don't know what I was expecting to find. Sheila and Julee doing cooking demos? Tons of great food? Instead, it was a very small shop with some jams and the like for sale. And we had walked miles to get there.
