Can’t afford to attend a mystery convention? Think again

For just $25, you can attend a virtual mystery convention. Shelf Awareness says, “Poisoned Pen bookstore and Poisoned Pen Press, Scottsdale, Ariz., are creating a virtual mystery convention called the Poisoned Pen WebCon, which will be held Saturday, October 24. The convention will allow publishers, writers and fans to engage in live interactive discussions and author panels and view on-demand videos, audio presentations, book trailers and read exclusive articles, participate in chat rooms and more… The $25 registration fee includes online access and full participation in all of the virtual convention events. Registrants will receive a goodie bag that includes a book voucher, free e-books and "privileged" interactive access to live events.”

Back on track

One week later and my back is nearly back to normal.

Stuff that helped
-Walking every day - even the day it took me more than an hour to walk two miles
-Getting Teen to pick up anything that fell on the floor
-Lying on my back with pillows under my knees
-Ice
-Putting a rolled up pillow in the small of my back when I was sitting
-Sleep cocktail: one naproxen plus one expired Flexeril plus two Tylenol PM
-Free 15 minute massage I got at gym (kind of like a pusher giving out free heroin samples)

Stuff that was neutral or less than neutral
-Trying to find accupressure points
-Sitting at a concert for three hours
-When Teen was gone and stuff fell on the floor
