In which I decide I'm perhaps not too old

We went to a concert last night. The bands were Point Juncture WA (too many people talking to hear them well, curse those idiots), Laura Veirs and The Hall of Flames (we saw her this summer in a much smaller venue, and Blind Pilot.

And the last song they sang before the encore was this:

Up until that point, I had been thinking I was too old to stand for four hours. Too old to be crushed against strangers. Too old to listen to some loud girl going on about her fake ID. Too old to have to keep shifting positions when the tall guy standing in front of me moved his large head.

But I really love this song.
