Bigfoot versus Hillbilly

My dad was a news anchor for the local Southern Oregon TV channel. I remember us all going down to California in 1967 so he could interview the guys who made the Patterson-Gimlin film that supposedly showed Bigfoot walking around.

Disconcertingly, Teen’s 8th grade science teacher was a big believer in Bigfoot, and was willing to entertain some pretty crazy explanations (one involved glowing orbs and UFOs).
