Making sure that children feel shame

A woman has checked out and deliberately kept a library’s copy of Perfectly Normal. A review in School Library Journal called the book “a wonderful guide for young adolescents setting sail on the stormy seas of puberty.”

But the woman feels that the book gives sexual predators a tool that “gets children past the stage of embarrassment, blush, and shame.”

Yeah, lady, that’s where we want all our children to stay, in the shame stage.
