I don't know that I would have been so honest

But here is Read more a litle tale of what happened when a mystery writer got a two-book deal - and the editor rejected her second book. It's also the story of how an author, faced with less-than-stellar sales, had to change her name in order to get a new book deal. In these days when sales figures are widely available, thanks to computers, that's happened to more than one author I know.

I hope this lady's new publishers know about her past ... because after this post, they will.
