Ad copywriter tracks down murder suspects on his own

Okay, there's a guy in San Francisco who writes ads for Lloyd's Pest Control ("putting bugs out of business since 1931").

And he heard about a murder that the cops completely botched. After a guy went missing and they were clued into some suspects, they towed away thee car that cadaver dogs showed an interest in, and then left it - and the body in the trunk - at the impound lot for weeks. Meanwhile, they let the suspects drive off, and they fled to Baja, Mexico.

So the copywriter heard about the story, and while he had no connection to it at all, he decided to track them down.

And did! Read more here.

As a former copywriter, I applaud him!
