I once sat next to Ursula at a showing of one of the films made from The Lathe Of Heaven: A Novel
, one of my favorite books. She just sat it in the audience with all of us regular people.
If you've never read The Lathe of Heaven, it's about a guy whose dreams comes true. He goes to a therapist, seeking help, but the therapist decides that he can make the world a better place by controlling the main character's dreams.
This does not work out well, as you might guess.
The character lived on Corbett Street, as I did when I was reading the book. I used to wonder which house he lived in.
