Can you tell a story - in just SIX words?

Thirty-five writers contributed six-word stories to Wired magazine. There were all sci-fi, fantasy, and horror writers, which explains the stories they came up with.

Here are some examples (read more here):

We kissed. She melted. Mop please!
- James Patrick Kelly

It's behind you! Hurry before it
- Rockne S. O’Bannon

I'm your future, child. Don’t cry.
- Stephen Baxter

1940: Young Hitler! Such a cantor!
- Michael Moorcock {Full disclosure: I would change my last name if it were Moorcock. But maybe that's just me.]

Lie detector eyeglasses perfected: Civilization collapses.
- Richard Powers

Do you think you could write one?
