Right before I left for the gym, I was working on a part about Elizabeth. "Chapter 19. Elizabeth always goes to the gym to look good. One day, the teacher is sick and she ends up teaching the class. She is asked to continue on as a teacher."
I was talking to one woman before boot camp class began. Her daughter, who is only in her 30s, is having a double mastectomy tomorrow. The woman said she really needed to be in class to keep her mind off her worry.
The group of about 12 of us waited. No teacher. Finally someone else who works in the gym came over to say our teacher was sick and that class was cancelled. Thinking of the troubled woman, I asked if some of us who had taken the class for a while could lead it. There are three or four of us who have been taking it for a while, at least one for longer than me.
I thought we could kind of group teach it, but I ended up teaching the whole class all by myself. It is hard to instruct, count, and do it yourself! You have to be extremely focused. And I think I did a pretty good job, even teaching two women who were taking the class for the first time.
It wasn't until the end of class that I realized that I was doing the same thing Elizabeth does. And she turns out to be a sociopath. She even kills a couple of people at the gym.
Maybe I had turn myself in now, as a precaution.
