If you don't know me by now...

I drank the Kool-Aid and have a Twitter account. Last night I picked up some new followers after I Tweeted what McCain strategist Steve Schmidt had said about how Sarah Palin reacted to her nomination. He said, "She was calm-nonplussed." Only nonplussed means perplexed.

My new followers are all ardent Republicans. I have a feeling it won't be long before they are unfollowing.

Sometimes the whole following thing seems kind of random. Like they are just trying to make themselves bigger.

Or maybe I don't understand Twitter.
I have the Kool-Aid sitting on my desktop staring at me. I will probably be starting a Twitter later. I am not a Republican.
One of them was such a Republican that he spent most of his description writing about how he didn't like Obama.
Oh, that's funny. I liked what they were saying yesterday about not having vetted Palin well enough before deciding on her as McCain's running mate. What? Don't you think selecting a vice presidential candidate it something you'd think over more than just a little bit? They'll probably wind up blaming that on the democrats, too. :)
They said the vetting was all done by what they could find on the Internet in a week or two - that seems thorough!
You DIDN'T, April! Tell me it's not true! I am still holding out on that whole twitter business. I can't keep up with everything as it is, constantly behind, constantly frustrated, not blogging as often as I should, not writing as much as I needed to, blah, blah, blah.

But just *this minute* I finished reading LEARNING TO FLY - fantastic!!! Really enjoyed it, very suspenseful! Can't wait to read your YA next!

And I'm a pretty conservative person (I want government OUT OF MY LIFE and BANK ACCOUNT, thank you very much!) but I don't hold your liberalism against you. ;-D
I don't Tweet very much and I'm not sure I'm doing it right (like Lisa S. should it be lots of links) but I figured I should give it a try.

Thanks for the kind words on LTF. I wrote that book for fun without a contract. I should do that more often.
Yeah, but they're all nonplussed so maybe they won't connect those dots.
Maybe I can send them some subliminal messages and help them come to their senses.

If I had had more characters, I would have said something about how Palin really is nonplussed.
