Under the penname Conrad Haynes, Dana wrote three mysteries that were published 20 years ago. Long enough ago that I remember reading about him and his books and feeling jealous. I was writing and wanted to get published, too, but I didn't even have an agent. Time passed. He didn't publish any more books. He parted ways with his agent.
Then he wrote Crashers
Dana never gave up.
