This project does double duty: giving people a voice and exposing groups of people who are probably not big readers to the power of words.
I read a fascinating collection of essays from one workshop group. They were all people who were about to undergo weight loss surgery because they were morbidly obese. It opened my eyes to my own knee-jerk judgments (to mix bodily metaphors).
