Commuting on the freeway during rush hour is boring.
So boring that a Tri-Met driver propped a Kindle on his dash and read as he drove through the Terwilliger Curves - infamous for the number of accidents that occur there. At one point, he even drove with his elbow. When the driver finally noticed that people were watching and had their cell phones out, he lied and told a rider he could not take a picture of him while driving.
While I'm all for getting more people reading, I don't think this is the answer.
