Publishers Marketplace reports this sale: "Lawrence Block, writing as Jill Emerson, has sold GETTING OFF: A Novel of Sex and Violence, introducing Block's first new series character in more than a decade, a female serial killer out to end the life of every man with whom she's ever slept, to editor Charles Ardai at Hard Case Crime. Agent was Danny Baror at Baror International."
