There was The Nanny Diaries, with barely disguised evil parents employing the virtuous Nanny. And the Devil Wears Prada, written by the former assistant to Anna "Nuclear" Wintour. Now there's Blind Submission, written by someone who used to work for agent Sandra Dijkstra. And coming up, Little Pink Slips, by Sally Koslow, who lost her job as editor of McCall's after it was transformed into the short-lived Rosie. In the novel's first 15 pages the Rosie-like character is a brash, foul-mouthed TV personality named Bebe Blake. She has "lady wrestler legs" and wears panties that are described as "grannies."
