An 8th grade teacher just made my day!

Every time I see a new review for Girl, Stolen (Christy Ottaviano Books) on Amazon, I wincingly scroll down to see what it says. You can get 17 great reviews and then one poopy, mocking one, and it's the poopy one that will stick to you like you stepped in it.

But this is the latest:

"I loved this book! I am an 8th grade l.a. teacher and I am constantly looking for books to hook my students. My librarian told me about this one and even said it was a "top 2 or 3 that she has read in the past five years." That was not something to be taken lightly, so I immediately got the book. It was fast-paced, action from the first page, likable characters, short chapters (which is a big deal to reluctant readers), very suspenseful, and no vampires to be found! I brought it to class and did a book talk to generate interest. Now if I only had some more copies..."

Consider my day made!
