My review of Kevin Brockmeier's The Illuminiation

My review of The Illumination in the Oregonian begins:

"Most books are nothing novel. The details may differ, but underneath, the bones of the plot are familiar: Serial killers who must be stopped. The search for love or vengeance. Coping with divorce or zombies or job loss.

I do wish the book had a cover as good as one of his earlier books.
