“Flipbacks” take Europe by storm

More than one million flipback books have been sold in Holland, and it’s being launched in Spain, France, and England. The books are printed on thin paper, like rolling paper, and lie flat when open. They are small enough to fit in a pocket.

What a fabulous idea! For those of us who can't read small print, though, it's probably too great a challenge. I mean, I once thought paperback novels were supposedly pocket books. So much for that! But for my kids and grandkids, I think it would be phenomenal.

But I have one question before I think about getting one for each of them. What's the difference between turning the page and flipping it, other than sideways or up and down page turning/flipping?
