Girl's fake pregnancy attracts film, TV, book people

I just knew that the story of Gaby Rodriguez, the girl in Washington State who pretended to be pregnant for her senior project, was going to attract a lot of attention.

Looks like I was right. She's been contacted by literary agents, TV producers, radio producers, the Ellen DeGeneres show, and film producers.

What's amazing to me is how few people knew she was sporting a homemade baby bump.

Her hometown newspaper reports: "Gaby's slated to travel to New York City early this month, accompanied by her principal, science teacher, mom, boyfriend and possibly best friend. She's looking forward to meeting John Quiñones, the Emmy award-winning co-anchor of ABC's "Primetime" whose work includes the series of hidden-camera reports called "What Would You Do?""
